* Chen Family Memorial Hall · Shamian Island · Yongqing Lane · Pearl River Cruise

@ Breakfast. Chen Family Memorial Hall — a masterpiece of Qing-dynasty Cantonese folk architecture, decorated with ceramic friezes, wood carvings and stone sculptures.

~ Afternoon

@ Shamian Island — a tree-lined colonial island with European-style mansions from the 19th-century treaty port era. Yongqing Lane — a revitalised old neighbourhood blending Lingnan shophouses with contemporary art and Cantonese cuisine.

# Day 4

* Foshan · Nanfengguzao · Foshan Ancestor Temple · Lingnan Tiandi

~ Morning

@ Breakfast. 1.5-hour drive to Foshan city. Nanfengguzao — a 500-year-old Shiwan pottery kiln complex, the birthplace of Guangdong ceramic art. Enjoy pottery making. Optional: pottery workshop.

~ Daytime

@ Foshan Ancestor Temple (Zu Miao) — a magnificent Taoist temple complex dating to the Northern Song dynasty, famous for its intricate ceramic decorations and regular lion dance performances. Lingnan Tiandi — a stylishly restored Qing-dynasty commercial street.

~ Night

@ Optional: royal palace dinner. Drive back to Guangzhou hotel.

* Chimelong Safari Park

~ Morning

@ Breakfast. Pick up by driver.

~ Daytime

@ Chimelong Safari Park — one of the largest zoological parks in China, home to giant pandas, white tigers, giraffes and the largest chimpanzee colony in Asia. Without guide service. Optional: guide service, private car in self-driving area.

~ Night

@ Optional: Chimelong Circus. Drop off back to hotel by driver.
